I got an interesting question, so I will tell you the rest of the stories from the Buddhist Film Festival in the next post.

The question is,-
' What is Psychic Death ' ?
The net gives a sweeping definition - ' a fundamental transformation of the psyche '.
But what - is - the - meaning - of this ?!
Let - us - start - at - the - very - beginning!
A - very - good - place to - start !
Each one of us has started this life - death - rebirth - death cycle to enjoy Creation and experience all kinds of emotions.
We have had mineral, plant, animal lifetimes and then began our human ones.
Having started in a group of about 150 - 200, we were actively experiencing all kinds of emotions in all those avatars.
Like trust, love, excitement, joy and so on.
Along the way, many, many lifetimes ago, it may have happened that something did not turn out the way we anticipated.
Let us take an example.
We trusted someone and were betrayed.
A hundred lifetimes ago.
The body died.
Just the body.
All emotions went ahead to the next birth.
We now have this energy of doubt lurking in us which will attracts more of the same.
More betrayals.
Over many, many lifetimes we will feel betrayed and that part of our soul which trusted, starts to wilt.
It simply starts to shut down completely and we now come into the mode of ' Do not trust '.
Or someone has been insulted in a lifetime hundreds of lifetimes ago. and because it is such a known, familiar emotion, goes looking out to be insulted.
Once this person is insulted, there is a kind of negative satisfaction, a reinforcement of one's belief because he / she just doesn't know what it is to not be insulted.
This mental make up manifests as a psychic problem and makes one's own and everybody's life miserable.
It is an overwhelming emotion and we do not know how to handle it.
Sometimes it is apparent from childhood as ' friends are only fair - weather ', or ' marriage is just a compromise', ' no one can be trusted, ' I will never have support ' and so on.
There would be suspicion about the spouse's fidelity, finances being hidden, uncaring children - the whole victim mentality.
This death of trust in our mental make - up, is an example of Psychic Death.
That part has just died over frequent betrayals.
There is another aspect to this.
Many people come for a PLR Session wanting to know why they are lonely or morose or so negative in their outlook.
They realize this but don't know why or how to get out of it.
They go to their In - between stage when they were chalking out their next life and wanted to experience being alone, doing everything on one's own etc.
Along the way, it spun out of control and now they find themselves trapped in the vortex of loneliness and negativity.
Trust is one example.
Actually, all the 9 moods, the navarasas of Delight, Laughter, Sorrow, Anger, Heroism, Fear, Disgust, Wonder and Peace find expression in our psyche by being there, or by their absence.

I would take you to the most traumatic past life connected to your issue and help you to release it there.
I would take you to a few happy lifetimes too, so that you experience positive energies from there and start to build trust again.
Psychic or physical, every death, anywhere, is a birth somewhere else.
It is definitely possible to make it happy and positive.
