Lifeafterdeath

Hi Folks!

How are you doing?

Today we are going to know a little about . . . .  Lifeafterdeath!

Did you notice it is Life with a Capital and written without single spacing?!

Because that's how it is.

The Life we are living now is important.

And there's not a beat missed between this Life and lifeafterdeath.

One step here, the next on the other side, and you continue.

There's no 'If'.

Just 'Whenever'.

The most shocking and unsettling part about death is to find out that you are alive.

It is annoying and traumatic too, if you have steadfastly believed that there is nothing, maybe just blackness.

No realization or acknowledgement of one's behaviour, no judgment.

Just darkness after you die.

Or the benign presence of whoever you believe to be supreme, their presence or divine golden light.

Or heavenly beauties pouring wine for you.

Nurturing Ego, with blinkers which only saw self, power and money.

Parents, spouse/s or children were necessary irritants or accoutrements who you have ignored or avoided to emotionally invest in, but made full use of.

Whatever your strong beliefs have been to the contrary, there is life after death.

Just like the one here with its eco-system which is varied and interesting, full of opportunities, but without the faults of this one.

I did many sessions for people who died in the pandemic.

Their relatives had wanted to know if we could find out where they were.

Were they stuck because they could not meet the loved ones or because the last rites could not be performed according to scriptures?

Did they want to say something?

I said let us find from them.

These days, sessions are online, so family members could connect from different places.

All those who had died said they were okay and in a good place - in the sense that they were not stuck in a scary place.

They could not describe where they were, but they had been received, and asked the families not to mourn for them.

One young man was still very upset because, he said,

'I died because I thought nothing would happen to me. I wore the mask but when I had cold and fever, did not get the covid test for a week because of sheer negligence. I feel very ashamed of my behaviour'.

Most of his family could sense his presence.

It was the same with some others.

They had faced no difficulty in their onward journey because there had been no proper rituals or last minute meeting.

A young, pregnant woman had got it in her 8th month and the baby had been safely delivered through operation.

Unfortunately, she could not be saved and when she came, she was sad about not being there for the baby.

Death comes when one of the following three end: karma, time, both, or accidentally.

I asked her, we plan our life before taking birth, so what had been her purpose of this life?

And received an unexpected reply, a very important input.

In response, she showed a glimpse of a previous life when her husband had died at a young age leaving her with small children.

In this life, her husband had to suffer her loss and bring up the child on his own.

I will not make sweeping statements based on few such replies, but all pandemic deaths are neither avoidable nor unavoidable.

Some may have definitely died because of greed, negligence, corruption, cruelty, indifference and so on.

That karma will come back to them, whatever their religion, belief, colour, caste or country, however hard they may ignore, shrug off, pray, donate etc. etc.

Karma is a boomerang.

If you do not want to be fearful of your own death and be strong in someone else's death, look at your current life.

Your thoughts, actions, behaviour.

That's what is going to come to you, sometimes in current life, or in lifeafterdeath.

When you choose to take a flight for a particular destination, you cannot be shocked when you reach there, saying this is not what I expected, I don't have this currency, I don't have the documents and where is that someone I had bribed, and so on.

You create the quality of lifeafterdeath by how you live here.

And that is just a pit-stop too.

Once you recover from the shock of being alive after death and pay for your misbehaviour in ways that have to be done there, you come back here to do it physically.

When you finish your birth over there, die and take birth here again!

See, death is not be scared or feel helpless about.

Now meditate and give Metta.

If you have forgotten what it is, read the posts on Metta.

See you and be happy.

Life after death sounds a lot like life. Regrets, emotion etc

Nice Post. Life after Death / Rebirth is certainty, until Nirvana is achieved.
