How's LIFE?!
Sorry for the delay, was having a great time celebrating another Big Fat Indian Wedding!
This one was city-based and though traditional and different from that earlier one (read the post on 'A Big Fat Indian Wedding'), still quite moving.
Well !
You know, the year is over!
2010 passed in a jiffy!
What does this kind of change in the calender mean to you?
I like to go over and think about how I have changed in this year's span.
Do I still react or am I learning to respond?
Do I learn my lessons quicker than say, last year?
Am I able to give a loooooong rope - and then actually let people hang themselves?
Or do I keep bailing out?
Is it my need to bail them out and make excuses for them?
In doing so do they learn - or even become aware of lessons to learn?
Do I?!
It's terrible, this spring-cleaning!
One becomes aware of the various ways of our Energy Stealing, but then, Awareness is the key to stopping it and empowering oneself, so it is good too !
A wonderful story was forwarded to me and I want to spread the powerful, practical idea.
Here goes -
WORK PRESSURES -
I hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job, a flat tyre made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one-tonne truck refused to start.
While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence.
On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family.
As we walked towards the front door, he stopped briefly at a tree and touched the tips briefly.
While opening the door, he underwent an amazing transformation.
His tan face was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two children and kissed his wife.
Afterward, he walked me to the car.
We crossed the tree and my curiosity got the better of me.
I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier.
"Oh, that's my Trouble Tree, "he replied.
"I know I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing is sure. Those troubles do not belong in the house with my wife and children.
So I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them. Then in the morning, I pick them up again."
' Funny thing is," he smiled, "when I come out in the morning to pick them up, there aren't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before".
Wonderful wisdom, is it not?!
Sometimes, we do get addicted to the POOR ME syndrome and crave problems and anxieties.
Makes us feel alive and important.
Peel off these layers, you really don't need them.
We turn into dead-wood without the faintest awareness and when water floats fast around us, we feel we are moving too, but in fact we are not.
We have stagnated long ago.
It needs courage to sit down and dwell on thoughts at length.
And then to let them go.
Thoughts, things, painful associations, memories-
OF COURSE you can do it !
Bye for now, take care.

Dear Shubhada Ma'am,
What a strong and powerful message this 'plumber' story gives. Really.. we miss everyday lot of small small pleasures due to the unseen emotional burdens.. be it from work or personal life.
thanks...and i always await the new posts in your blog (we call in Marathi.. Chataka saraki vaat baghate) My small request is nowadays there are quite a lot of intervals in the 2 blogs... pls. make the 'gap' shorter and 'posts' frequent.
I have a question on PLR, "Does it happen that someone doesn't experience ANYTHING to help him sort out his issues in PLR sessions? In such case, what should he do? Meditate more...? How...?" Can you enlighten on this query?
As shared with you earlier, i am continuing connecting to my Spirit Guide/master/Angels/well-wisher spirit beings, getting amazing unexpected help & support in day-to-day issues.
Every night, before meditation I invite him to bless me and i instantly experience hot flushes in my palms, ears and overall body temperature. Just wanted to ask you, is this experience common? Awaiting your reply.
Longing to see you again, as i again wish to go for a PLR session. Will be in touch soon.
Regards
Vaishali
