Start Again!

Hi Folks!

How are you?!

My consciousness has started the process of shifting, how about yours?

Today's label, ' Start Again ', is the sentence we hear from Vipassana Acharya S. N. Goenkaji every hour during the 10 - day Vipassana course.
It gently brings our wandering, meandering, excited, happy, irritated, sad, mad, confused, jumbled minds to the incoming and out - going breath.
And once the mind settles, it calms down.

This is my mostest favouritest sentence and it teaches me that many, many things have to be learnt and practiced over and over again.

And every time, it is a new beginning.

There is a comment that I have to answer, and once I have done that, I will tell you about my Burma visit.

So here's the comment, verbatim -

Ma'am, I am sorry but your entire philosophy wasn't convincing at all. I came to you with curiosity to get familiar with PLR....it sounded unique to me when my colleague shared his experience with me but on the opposite I found it a kid's play....I was not there to judge you and your practice, I was there to see something which makes me feel that out of what we see there is much that we can never think of...in my Plr session I was bored making stories which were baseless obviously because they were my instant creation....I was not at all in my sub concious mind that probably you could have also realized but if not then let me tell you every character that I could make where all of film stars and different artist....one Time I started imagining something in animation..all movie types...I still don't object this methodology but the way it was delivered was not worth...Sorry If you feel offensive due to my post...but after long silence I could not stop myself.  Microscope and Mural -

I do not feel offensive about your comments at all!

What happens in a PLR session does not obey my philosophy. It is a Science, a scientific technique recognized all over the western world as a safe method of healing past wounds and traumas. It is slowly gaining a foothold in India and until then, many people may think it to be of doubtful consequences.

It does not matter if you come for a session out of curiosity or to test the method or to prove it right or wrong.

Let me explain a little -

Our mind is made up of two parts -10 - 12% of Conscious one and 88 to 90% of the Sub Conscious one.
Between the two, there is a Critical Filter made up of Doubts, Questions, Intellect and Ego.

In a PLR session, with instructions to relax you physically and mentally, I move away this filter for some time which enables the Conscious mind to go to the Sub Conscious where all our past lives are.

Hence, in a PLR Session, you will always be conscious , not classically hypnotized where you do not remember anything while undergoing the process or later.

When I then ask you to enter a past life connected to a particular problem of yours, you will go to only that one, and all your thoughts, feelings, stories, imagination and fantasy etc is going to come from that life and nowhere else.
Many people do think they are making up stories or imagining things, but then, why doesn't - why didn't you see things in which you were a great warrior or emperor, a rich businessman loved by all or a successful tycoon etc?

The doubts about the technique come when one is not ready to accept that whatever is happening to us now, in career or finances or personal relationships is the fruit of our own specific past karma which we actually get to see / understand in a session.

The past lives that you ' saw ' according to me, and ' made up stories of ' according to you, matched perfectly with the problems you are currently having in your life.

The lessons which you were taking forward after every lifetime, were -' Learn to adapt to changes', 'Take responsibility of people who are close to you ', ' Respect every woman ', and after another, you discovered that you had yourself chosen ' to see a tough life '.

In the cave, the leader was not ready to forgive you and the ' Presence ' said, ' You will lose everything you have'.
This is a warning to mend ways in current life and I am not the one who gave it to you. It is your own higher intelligence which wants you to learn to change the wrong habit - patterns.

Blaming PLR is not going to help at all!
You can try some other Therapist, but I do feel that you would benefit immensely if you did undergo a couple more sessions.
No hard feelings from my side, hope none from yours!

Now for my Burma trip!

It is a country which is steeped in the five precepts of the Buddha which people actually follow in all sincerity.

There is no stealing, no killing, no drinking, people are moral and ethical and gentle.
It is calming and the air is soothing.

We were in Yangon which has many pagodas other than the awe-inspiring Shvedagon  It was humbling meditating in its premise in the early morning, pre - dawn quietude.

The road to Mandalay is a marvellous multi-laned highway with hardly any vehicles on it.

There is poverty and lack of modern amenities everywhere, but after 60 years of suppression, they are opening up slowly.

Mandalay's skyline is dotted with golden Pagodas of all sizes -big, bigger and even bigger and I counted over 100 of them!

They are still building new ones too!

It was blissful, and I am back rejuvenated !

Happy new year to all of you -

Enjoy and take care -
